Whats up with Three Crosses:
Stephen Pasch and Ralph Barrientos Co-founders and leaders of Three Crosses
have announced an indefinite hiatus from their touring ministry (aside from
special events and summer festivals etc..)
Ralph Barrientos is looking forward to taking time to be home with his wife
and to start a family, as well as writing songs and music for upcoming
releases, film and television.
Stephen Pasch will continue touring in 1999 with the "100% Saved Tour", a
multimedia concert/outreach featuring 2 giant video screens and video
accompaniment designed by Stan Moore who recently created the video visuals
for the Newsboys Tours ("Take Me to Your Leader" and "Step up to the Mic").
Stephen's concerts will still feature the great music of Three Crosses as well
as some new material. He will be continuing with the ministry, spoken
testimony and altar calls which have given him and Three Crosses the
reputation as one of today's most evangelical forces in Christian music.
Bio On Steve:
Every few years, an artist comes along that seems to be the voice to a
generation. Speaking words that touch not only listeners' ears but penetrate
deep into their hearts, Stephen Mark Pasch ministers with music, a message and
a burning desire to share the gospel.
Stephen Mark Pasch is one of Christian music's most evangelical voices today.
As the co-founder, singer and lyricist for the band, "Three Crosses," Stephen
was part of a great revival which began in 1997 and continued into 1998. His
focus on God's will for his life and the lives of those he performed for and
ministered to, led over 10,000 people to come forward at altar calls to make
commitments and rededications to Christ.
The gospel presentation which God has given Stephen has been put together in a
unique way, unlike conventional altar calls, challenging listeners to examine
their relationship/commitment with Christ. The results are truly amazing to
the message Stephen gives titled "100% SAVED."
With music that has been described as acoustic pop to American rock, Stephen
has stretched the boundaries of being categorized. From the #1 songs of "Three
Crosses" rock repertoire to the heartfelt adult contemporary ballads that
became a signature part of his concerts, Stephen remarks "God uses different
styles of music and songs to minister to all. I have seen children and adults
effected by the same song. In fact, an 84 year old woman got saved at a "Three
Crosses" rock concert in September of 1998."
Touring with artists such as Michael W. Smith, Jars of Clay, Petra, Ron Luce
and Acquire the Fire and opening for Amy Grant and The Newsboys has helped
Stephen to minister to over 1 million people in 4 years. "Three Crosses"
prayerfully went into an indefinite hiatus in October of 1998. Now God is
leading Stephen into a new phase of ministry.
Now embarking on a solo career as an artist/minister, Stephen says "I feel
that people can have the best of both worlds at my concerts/outreaches. They
will hear their favorite "Three Crosses" songs as well as new material
including praise & worship, while seeing them performed in a multi media
format.
The tour will be called " THE 100% SAVED TOUR ,"an will feature 2 giant video
screens, with fully produced accompaniment videos by Stan Moore, who produced
the video segments for the last two Newsboys' tours. This will also be an
opportunity for Stephen to share his new music with audiences in America and
Europe in 1999.
With a humble heart and a grateful appreciation to God for allowing him to
serve, Stephen remarks "I feel privileged to be used by God each night and
watch Him touch so many lives. I will never take for granted the gift and
blessings the Lord has bestowed on me and will always give Him 100% of the
credit".
